Elsie N. Stallworth, 86, of Providence, passed away Sunday July 28th, surrounded by her loving family.  She was the wife of the late Lonnie Stallworth.

Born in Birmingham, Alabama she was a daughter of the late Lorenzo Foreman and Carrie Stokes.

She is survived by four children, Terrie Stallworth, Vicki Stallworth, Shawyn Stallworth, and Jason Stallworth, all of Providence; two grandchildren, Lonnie Stallworth and Aeneas Stallworth; four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Charles Stokes and Bruce Stokes; and a sister, Joan Stokes.  She was the mother of the late Lona Stallworth, grandmother of the late Curtis Goode, Jr.,  and sister of the late Robert Stokes.

Visiting hours will be at the A.A. Mariani & Son Funeral Home, 200 Hawkins Street, Providence, Friday August 2nd, 10:00 am -12 Noon, followed by a funeral service at 12 Noon.  Burial will follow in North Burial Ground, Providence.
