Anthony “Tony” Malachi Jr, 44, of Port Huron, MI. passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 26, 2024.
Tony was born on November 6th, 1979, in Port Huron, MI to Annette Darlene Swift and Anthony Wayne Malachi Sr. He graduated from Port Huron Northern High School in June, 1998.
He was presently employed with the Port Huron Housing Commission.
Tony’s kind and humble spirit personified his personality. He enjoyed fishing, anime, gardening and sports, but the true joy of his life was his daughter, Ariana. Together they enjoyed shopping, dining out, watching movies, talking about life, and spending quality time together. His number one hobby was “eating”; he loved food.
Tony's passing leaves a void in our hearts, and we will always remember his smile, quiet manner, and kindness.
He leaves to cherish his memory: Loving mother, Annette Swift; devoted father, Anthony Wayne Malachi; loving daughter, Ariana Malachi; faithful and longtime companion, Melissa Shaw; adoring grandmother, Yvonne Malachi; sister, Tarian Cooney; brother-in-law, Morgan Cooney; two aunts, Andrea (Charles) Malachi Wansedel, and Sheila Hemphill; two uncles Sheldon (Glen) Smith, and Neil Smith; niece, Diem Cooney; and nephew, Dean Cooney; two cousins Adriana Jordan, and Christina Hemphill; and a host of other family and friends.
Tony is now reunited with his grandmother, Betty Smith, and grandfather, John Allen Malachi.
His journey on earth ended, but the precious memories we cherish will live in our hearts forever.
Tony was a gift of life donor.
A gathering and viewing will be held on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Grace Memorial Life Celebration Center, 4521 Ravenswood Road, Kimball, MI 48074.
