Lynda Marie Martin, age 72, of Garfield, Arkansas, was gently carried into Jesus’ arms on July 28, 2024. Born in Omaha, Nebraska, Lynda was preceded in death by her parents, Del and Mary Seymour.

She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Chuck Martin, of the home in Garfield, Arkansas; her daughters Charlene (Leon) Kelley of Pea Ridge, Arkansas, and Gayle (Jason) Fischgrabe of Centerton, Arkansas; six grandchildren, Dakota (Haley) Ketcher, Callie Ketcher, Morgan Kelley, Jaylee (Madalyn) Kelley, Jackson Fischgrabe, and Stella Fischgrabe; and four great-grandchildren, Breelan Ketcher, Payton Kelley, Bailey Kelley, and little Carter. Lynda also leaves behind her siblings Dan (Elaine) Seymour of Omaha, Nebraska; Dave (Sally) Seymour of Conroe, Texas; Doug (Debbie) Seymour of Crescent, Iowa; Debbie Estes of Omaha, Nebraska; Richard (Linda) Seymour of Omaha, Nebraska; and baby brother Dean Seymour of Grand Island, Nebraska, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members.

A woman of deep faith, Lynda found joy in boating on Beaver Lake, working in her garden, and cooking for her family. Her loving spirit and fierce loyalty left a profound impact on all who knew her. Lynda’s memory will be cherished, and her legacy of love will endure.

A Celebration of Life will be held on September 14th at Whitney Mountain Chapel in Garfield, AR, at 4:00 PM.

Though Lynda’s light may have dimmed, her love and kindness will continue to inspire everyone fortunate enough to have known her. May she rest in peace, surrounded by the love she so freely gave.
