Henri Hubert Lupien Obituary

In loving memory of Henry (Hank) Lupien

It is with great sadness and broken hearts that we announce the passing of Henry Lupien on Friday, 26 July 2024 at the age of 85. Beloved husband of over 57 years to Shirley Lupien (nee Baggio) and devoted father of Ryan Lupien. Dear son of Laura Lindsay and Onil Lupien (both predeceased). Loving brother of Alice Fahner (George, both predeceased), Georgette Barbe (Denis, both predeceased), Jacqueline MacDougall (John, predeceased), Éva Lalonde (Pierre), Irene Carroll (Leon), and Elaine Simon (Barry). Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.

Hank was an excellent pool player. He loved to dance and liked listening to country music. He was an avid skier in the winter and golfer in the summer. He enjoyed his time with the family at the cottage on Trout Lake, fishing and waterskiing, and more recently at his home on Long Lake, where he enjoyed wood working, making bird houses and lighting up the sauna.

Henry’s memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the dedicated doctors, nurses and staff on the dialysis floor at HSN, as well as at St. Joseph’s Continuing Care Centre.

Visitation will be held at the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home, 233 Larch Street, Sudbury, on Friday, 2 August 2024 at 1:00 pm, followed by a funeral service at the R.J. Barnard Chapel at 2:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Kidney Foundation would be appreciated.
