Linda Lloyd Brewer Mallard, of Pearl River, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on July 26, 2024, at the age of 82, in New Orleans, Louisiana. Born on July 28, 1941, in Frankfort, Kentucky, Linda was the cherished daughter of the late Anita Lloyd Sudduth and Clyde "Joe" Brewer.

Linda's life was a testament to the enduring power of love. She was the beloved wife of the late James Clark Mallard for 57 years, a partnership that was a model of commitment and affection. Together, they built a life filled with joy and mutual respect, a legacy that continues to inspire all who knew them.

A devoted mother, Linda's nurturing spirit was most evident in her relationship with her daughter, Heather René Cordes. She instilled in Heather the values of kindness, perseverance, and the importance of family. Linda's love extended to her grandson, Hunter Cordes, and her son-in-law, James Cordes, who she loved with all her heart. Her guidance and wisdom will continue to light the way for her family's future generations.

Linda's interests reflected her caring and attentive nature. She dedicated her life to being a steadfast wife and mother, always placing the needs of her family above her own. Her warm presence and unwavering support were the cornerstones of the happy and loving home she created.

Linda's departure leaves a void in the hearts of those who loved her, yet her spirit remains a comforting presence. Her life was a beautiful portrait of love and dedication, and her memory will be cherished forever.

The family would like to extend their appreciation and thanks to Latoya Collins for her compassionate care over the past three years. Latoya was more than a CNA; she truly became a friend to Linda and the family.
