    Cheryl Ann Ridge was born March 30, 1955 in Denton, Texas to Edgar Ridge, Jr. And Annie Grace Moore Ridge.

She Graduated from Sanger High School where she was a star athlete in basketball and track.

After graduating high school, she also graduated from The International

School of Business.


    She worked several jobs before gaining employment as a Secretary for

the Westside Baptist Church in Lewisville, Texas and retired from Peterbilt.

After several years of employment there. She relocated to Huttig, Arkansas

after retirement with her husband Edmun; she was an active member of the

First Baptist of Felsenthal in Felsenthal, Arkansas. She served as the Pastor’s

Aide and also provided their church bulletins and programs until her demise.

Cheryl loved to cook and help others.


    She leaves to cherish her memories: (3) Sons: Dexter Ridge of Gainesville,

Texas, Byronn Ridge (Alicia) of Denton, Texas and Edmun Blake III (Lekietha)

of Dallas, Texas; Goddaughter: Katherine Phillips; Grandchildren: Amara

Jana’ Ridge (Matthew), Noah Jayden Ridge, Zane Raschad Ridge, Nevaeh

Monet Ridge, Brooklyn Grace Ridge, Xamien Dior Ridge; Honorary

Grandchildren: Derrick Walton, Kerrington Hughes and Karson Huges; Great

grandchildren: Liam Lamont Ridge-Christensen and Maive Wrenae Ridge-

Christensen; Daughter -in-love: Jennifer Ridge; (2) Sisters: Joyce Murphy

(Mack) and Velma Lorne (Lawrence); (1) Aunt: Annie Mae Manuel and a host of

nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband Edmun Blake; mother and father,

Edgar Jr and Annie Ridge; her grandparents; sister; Edwinna Feagins,

brothers Jackie Bernard Kemp, James Artis Kemp, and several sunts and

uncles.
