Funeral Services for Marcus Joseph Kerry will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, August 2, 2024 at Firestarter Ministries, 109 2nd street, Colfax, Louisiana, under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home in Ball, Louisiana, with Reverends Nelson Ball and Russell Clemmons officiating. Interment to follow at Forest Lawn memorial Park cemetery in Ball, Louisiana.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are, BJ Seal, Gary Ball, Ethan White, Jon White, Chase Myers, Steven Rabalais, Timothy Rabalais, and Greg Kirkland.
Honorary pallbearers are, Brandon George, Shawn Kerry, Coby Vanwaters, Dalton Shirley, Stella Jones, night shift crew.
Visitation will be observed beginning at 5:00 PM on Thursday, August 1, 2024 all at the church.
Marcus Joseph Kerry, age 34, of Ball, Louisiana, entered eternity on Friday, July 26, 2024 at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria, Louisiana, surrounded by his loving family.
Mr. Kerry is preceded in death by his father, Marcus D. Kerry; his paternal grandmother, Fay Kerry; his paternal grandfather, Dempsey Kerry; and his maternal grandfather, Forest Rabalais.
Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Stacie Renee Rabalais Kerry; his sisters, Catherine Renee Kerry, and Torrie Ann Ball (Gary); his nieces, Raven Ball, Arial Ball, Kylee Single; his nephews, Nolan Ball, Jeremiah White, and Landon White; and many other loving family members and friends.
Born on August 8, 1989 in Pineville, Louisiana, Marcus was a man of God, and a faithful member of Firestarters Ministries. He was a very hard worker, who never liked to be late for work. A natural protector who loved his family and friends with all his heart, he had a talent for writing music and poems.
He brought encouragement to everyone he encountered. His light shined bright, and his spirit was contagious, and he will be missed by all that knew and loved him.
