Joanne Lindsey Reisser, beloved wife of Fritz John Reisser, passed away peacefully on July 28th, 2024, at the age of 72 in her home in Aiken, SC.

Born in Pasadena, CA on October 27th, 1951, Joanne was the daughter of the late Anthony Joseph and Elizabeth Varney Birdsey Schoepf. Joanne was a compassionate individual who dedicated her life to charity fundraising. She made a significant impact in her community and beyond, leaving a legacy of generosity and kindness. She held a degree from the University of New Hampshire and attended the Tuck School at Dartmouth University. She was a parishioner at St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth Reisser & Montgomery Markland of Dallas, TX.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Reisser was preceded in death by a son, Scott Reisser.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2024, at 2:00pm in the George Funeral Home Historic Downtown Chapel, 211 Park Ave SW, Aiken, SC 29801 (803) 649-6234.
