Robert H. Pease, Jr., a man of courage and adventure, passed away peacefully on July 28, 2024, at Ten Broeck Commons Nursing Facility.  Born on February 26, 1938, in Brooklyn, NY, Robert lived a life marked by service, love for his family, and a passion for the skies and nature.

Robert's early years were spent in the vibrant streets of Brooklyn, where he was born to the late Robert Sr. and Catherine Hefferman Pease. His journey of service began with the US Marines, where he enlisted at the young age of 17 and served from 1955 to 1958, instilling in him a lifelong sense of discipline and courage. After his honorable discharge, he continued to serve his community as a fearless NYC Firefighter, a role that showcased his bravery and commitment to helping others.

He is survived by his loving wife, Carol Pease, his devoted son, Robert, and several cherished grandchildren who will miss his friendly demeanor and the tales of his many exploits. Robert was predeceased by his parents and his beloved daughter, Carolyn Anjali Pease, whose memory continued to inspire him throughout his life.

Robert's love for the outdoors was as vast as the skies he soared through with his private pilot's license. His adventurous spirit found joy in the freedom of flight and the exploration of the natural world. This same spirit of generosity led him to volunteer at "God Given Bread," where he shared his warmth and kindness with those in need.

As we bid farewell to Robert H. Pease, Jr., we celebrate a life well-lived, marked by bravery, kindness, and a zest for life that will continue to light the way for all who knew him. His legacy will soar on the wings of his spirit, forever etched in the hearts of his loved ones and the many lives he touched.
