Maysville – Christine Jo Pollitt Johnson, 58, passed away Friday July 26, 2024, at Meadowview Regional Medical Center.
Christi was born December 17, 1965, to the late Vicki Keyser James and Glen “Bobby” Pollitt of Maysville.
She had Master’s degree in Early Childhood Development and worked for First Steps at Comprehend. Christi was an artist who enjoyed drawing and making woven rugs. She also enjoyed reading and playing card games but more than anything she loved her children and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her husband of 17 years, Rick Johnson; her father Bobby Pollitt; her children, Steven Johnson of Missouri and Nikki Snipes of South Carolina; her grandchildren Anyiah and Noah; sisters, Cindy Pollitt Stacey and Carrie (Shawn) Emmons; uncles, Tim Pollitt, Rusty Pollitt, and Joey Keyser; aunts, Rosie Baxter and Jeannie Silva; nephews, Tristan and Tyler; great-niece, Devan; great-nephew, Damien; and many cousins and extended family members.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 31, at Brell and Son Funeral Home followed by a graveside service at Maysville Mason County Cemetery at 1:15 p.m. with Pastor Marilyn Roades officiating.
Pallbearers will be Steven Johnson, Cindy Stacey, Carrie Emmons, Shawn Emmons, Tristan Emmons and Tyler Emmons.
