Lorraine H. Tremblay

1942 - 2024

Pomfret Center – Lorraine H. (Tercjak) Tremblay, 81, of Brook Front Ln., beloved wife of Richard E. Tremblay, died peacefully on Friday morning, July 26, 2024, at Westview Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. Born in N. Grosvenordale, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Florence (Lamoureux) Tercjak.

Mrs. Tremblay worked for many years as a security receptionist at Staples.

Lorraine enjoyed listening to audio books, rooting on her favorite New England sports teams, and traveling throughout the country with her husband.

She is survived by her husband, Richard Tremblay; her son Todd Tremblay, and his partner Anne Douglas of Quaddick; her daughter, Tracy Tremblay, and her partner Paul Brockett of New London; her sister, Pauline Laprade and her husband Norman of Washington, NH, and a grandson. She was predeceased by her brother, Richard Tercjak.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at on Thursday, August 1, 2024, at 11:00AM in St. Joseph Church, 18 Main St., N. Grosvenordale, CT. Burial will be private.

Lorraine’s family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff and doctors at Westview Healthcare for the exceptional care and love that they showed to Lorraine for the past six and a half years that she resided there.
