Roe, Walter R. – of Birch Run, age 62, passed away Friday, July 26, 2024 at Saginaw VA Medical Center. Honoring his wishes, cremation will take place. A Celebration of Walter's life will be held at a later date.

Walter was born November 10, 1961, in Mt. Clemens, Michigan, to the late John and Hazel (Harrington) Roe. Having served in the Army with dedication and reaching the rank of PVT, Walter was a veteran who served his country with pride from 1981 to 1983. Walter was a true entertainer who lit up every room he entered. His mischievous antics and his talent for making friends wherever he went. Walter was known for his love of hunting and fishing, often spending his days in the great outdoors. He had a knack for storytelling, always capturing the attention of those around him with his amusing tales. Not one to shy away from a good time, Walter loved being the center of attention and engaging in playful antics, especially when teasing his nephew, Mike and his wife Katie. He was a beloved son, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle, always ready to lend a helping hand and bring joy to those around him. He will be dearly missed by his best friend and great nephew, Landen.

Surviving are: Son, Brad (Amber) Sholler; Grandchildren: Braxton and Sydney; Siblings: Charlotte Geyer, John (Eileen) Roe Jr., and Harry (Donna) Roe; Several nieces and nephews.
