William “Bill” James Barr

Passed away peacefully on Friday, July 26, 2024 at LHSC-University Hospital, London at the age of 88. Loving father of Angela Tallett (Chris) and James Barr (Caroline). Cherished grandpa of Dustin, Brendan, Lindsay, Peter and Rita. Will be greatly missed by brother Jerry Barr and sister Mary Jordan (nee Barr). Will be remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins and good friend Ruth Lightfoot. Predeceased by his parents James Dale Barr and Edna Mary Barr (nee Kinahan), his spouse Phyllis Barr (nee Murphy), sister Janet Barr, brother George Barr and brother-in-law Brian Jordan.

Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Thursday, August 1, 2024 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm. Private family inurnment to take place at St. Peter’s Cemetery. Donations in memory of William to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
