Jaquetta (Jackie) Wolf, 96, of Jonesboro, Indiana, passed away on July 26, 2024, at Colonial

Oaks Health and Rehab.

Born on March 25, 1927, in Marion, Indiana, Jackie was the daughter of Oren and Goldie

Hewitt. She was married to the love of her life, Marion Wolf, for 75 years until his passing in

2020. Jackie enjoyed a long career at Crystal Laundry in Jonesboro before retiring, so she

continued to work part-time cleaning houses.

Jackie's love for her family was profound and she cherished their gatherings. Her crafting skills,

particularly her crocheting of doilies and afghans, were a testament to this love. She lovingly

made afghans for each of her grandchildren a tangible expression of her affection.

She is survived by her sons Gary (Susie) Wolf of Lake Havasu City, Arizona; Ronald Wolf of

Jonesboro; and Lyndal (Lorraine) Wolf of Van Buren. Jackie is also survived by 8 grandchildren,

12 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren, and numerous extended family members

and friends.

Jackie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Marion, her brothers Gerald Hewitt,

Charles Hewitt, and Lawrence Hewitt, and her granddaughter, Christi Sue Wolf.

A funeral service to celebrate Jackie’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on July 31, 2024, at Owen-

Weilert-Duncan Funeral Home, Gas City Chapel, 200 North 7th Street, Gas City, Indiana. Following the service, Jackie will be entombment at Grant Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will be ready to receive visitors from 10:00 a.m.

until the service begins on July 31, 2024
