Christine J. Matzura Obituary
Christine J. Matzura, age 92 of Metuchen, NJ passed away at home on Friday, July 26, 2024. She was born in La Rochelle, France and has lived in Metuchen since 1966. Christine was a Catholic. She was a professional hairdresser starting at age 14 in France, in the 1970’s at Standard Hair Academy, in the 1980’s at Hair Tech in New Brunswick, and ended her hairdressing career at About Faces in Tano Mall in Edison.
Christine was predeceased by her parents, Jean and Etienette Commenge; and her husband, Peter K. Matzura in 2002. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Bauch and son-in-law, Donald F Bauch of Metuchen; and her brother, Jean Paul and Annie Commenge of France. She also leaves two grandchildren, Christina Vicencio (Bauch) and Donald P. Bauch; and seven great grandchildren.
