Jenniefier “Jenny” Rogers Lane, 71, of Lexington passed away Friday, July 26, 2024 at her residence surrounded by her family. Jennifer was born January 21, 1953 in Horry County, South Carolina to the late Luther James Rogers and Emma Neil Hardee Rogers. Jenny loved life and spending time with her beloved husband. They did a lot together, from woodworking, starting businesses, selling and working on scooters and wheelchairs; everything they did was very rewarding to them and the others they served. Jenny was very talented and crafty. She will be greatly missed. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Gregory Lane; two brothers, Larry James Rogers and Jerry Neil Rogers; one sister, Kay Rogers Nobles.
Surviving is her husband of 53 years, Larry Wayne Lane of the home; one daughter, Tracey Byerly; one brother, Barry Rogers; one sister, Betty Paul and husband George.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, July 31, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Calvary United Church of Christ Cemetery in Thomasville. No formal visitation will be held. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.jcgreenandsons.com.
