Mark Steven Graves, 74, of Houston, Texas went home to be with the Lord on July 26, 2024.

Mark was born to Jady Duncan and Lenora Burton Graves on September 16, 1949 in Houston, Texas. He graduated from Stephen F. Austin High School in Houston in 1968.

Mark received a 4-year certification from the Pipefitters Local Union No. 211 in Houston in 1978 and continued his career as a pipefitter until his retirement almost 30 years later due to disability.

Mark married Janelle Spain in 1970 and they lived together in Houston. Together they raised their son David Graves and daughter Toni Graves. He is survived by his wife Janelle, son David, daughter Toni, and granddaughters Kaitlynn Fite and Ashlynn Fite.

He also leaves to cherish his memory his brother Ira Joseph Graves and sister-in-law Susan Graves, niece Brittany McElroy and her husband Sean, and niece Melanie Vines and her husband Cody and their son

Brody.

He was preceded in death by his parents Jady and Lenora Graves. He enjoyed spending time with his family, hunting, fishing, and playing golf. His hobbies included working in his flower beds, building fishing

rods, and repairing golf clubs.
