Tammie Oleta Andersen Obituary

Tammie Oleta Andersen, lovingly known as Nonnie, passed away peacefully in the early morning of July 26, 2024, at the age of 62. She was born on July 24, 1962, in Whitewright, TX, and resided in Van Alstyne, TX. Tammie's life revolved around her children, grandchildren, and her beloved dog. Her favorite quote, "This too shall pass," reflected her optimistic and resilient outlook on life. Tammie's defining personality traits included her tattoos and piercings, which showcased her unique and expressive spirit.

Tammie's proudest accomplishments were her children and grandchildren. She was a devoted mother to Mitchell, Vance, and Rhondie, who brought immense joy and fulfillment to her life. She cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren; Skyler, Ryen, Preston, Atticus, Aiden, and Mia, creating beautiful memories that will live on in their hearts.

Tammie lost her husband in October 2023. Married to Steve Andersen for 33 years, Tammie shared a deep bond with her husband and their relationship was filled with love and support. Together, they navigated life's challenges and celebrated its joys.

Tammie's impact on the lives of others was immeasurable. She embodied selflessness and compassion, always putting the needs of others before her own. She was a source of strength and support to her loved ones, offering a listening ear and a comforting presence. Tammie's love knew no bounds, and her legacy of kindness will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of knowing her.

Although Tammie's physical presence may no longer be with us, her spirit will forever remain alive in the hearts of those she touched. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who had the honor of being a part of her life.

Tammie is survived by her children, Mitchell Andersen (Erica) of Richardson, TX and Vance Andersen (Lacey) of Howe, TX; daughter Rhondie Andersen (Julian Garcia) of Plano, TX; grandchildren Skyler, Ryen, and Preston Andersen of Richardson, TX; Atticus and Aiden Andersen of Howe, TX; Mia Garcia of Plano; and brother, Ronnie Brown of Little Mineral Marina, TX. who will undoubtedly miss her presence and cherish the memories shared.
