Passed peacefully away on Friday, July 26th, at the Connaigre Peninsula Health Care Center at Harbour Breton, Vera Jane Stoodley, age 70 years of Harbour Breton.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories: her husband, Eric of 49 years; daughters, Erica Stoodley (Joe Willis) at Ontario, Linda Stoodley (Richard Whittle) at Harbour Breton and Jennifer Stoodley (Stephen Porter) at St. John’s; grandchildren, Andrew, Anthony, Anna, Lily Jane, Carlee, Taylor, Joe, Tye, Juliette, Wesley and Courtney; great grandchildren, Lennon and Liam; brother, John Durnford (Joan) at Halifax; sister, Lucy Bragg at Port Aux Basques; step sister, Hazel Skinner; step brother, Ralph Skinner (Mabel); special soul sister, Linda Hunt at Harbour Breton; special pet dog, Molly; and a large circle of in laws, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitations took place at Spencer’s Funeral Home at Harbour Breton from 2pm to 4pm and from 7pm to 9pm on Saturday, July 27 and Sunday, July 28.

Funeral Service was held on Monday, July 29, 2024 at 11:00am at Spencer's Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jonathan Durdle officiating.
