Marvin Lawrence Dunn Obituary

Marvin L. “Bud” Dunn, 50, passed away with the love of his family around him at 4:37 p.m. on Friday, July 26, 2024 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne.

Bud was born on August 4, 1973 in Peru, Indiana. He was a truck driver and a mechanic for many years before having to quit due to health issues.

He was a very brilliant and intelligent man. He loved hard, was very stoic and once you earned his respect he would give you anything he had. Bud always said to not open your mouth unless you knew what you were talking about, and talked about how sickness, sadly, changes a person in good and bad ways.

Bud very much enjoyed motorcycle rides with his family and friends. He could be found working on cars or watching his favorite tv and movies which included Star Trek and Dr. Who.

He believed in the Vikings and Norse Mythology, and knew his next home would be in Valhalla.

Bud is survived by his wife, Amanda, of North Webster, and his children: Jaylin (Zach) Foreman of Warsaw, Kyle Abbott of Pierceton, Marcus (Amanda) Dunn of Warsaw, Matt Dunn of Warsaw, Olivia Taylor of North Webster and Connor Dunn of North Webster; 6 grandchildren; his brother, William Samuels, and adopted brother, Jordan Rowe; and his mom that raised him, Bonnie Durocher of Peru.

Per his wishes, no formal services will be held.

The family kindly asks that memorial contributions be made to McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapels, to assist with expenses.
