Daniel James “Boo” Trefil, age 54, of Perrinton passed away Friday, July 26, 2024, at his home. He was born May 11, 1970, in Alma, the son of Danney and Joyce (Combs) Trefil. He was a 1989 graduate of Fulton High School. In his younger years, Boo, knew how to have fun and was good at getting in trouble with his Redneck friends, Buzz, Kent, Rob and Mike.
He accepted Jesus as his Savior while living in Las Vegas and continued to learn and grow in his faith, while submitting his life to Jesus. Although the last four years were hard on Boo, he continued to be kind and generous to all he knew. If you were his family or friend, he loved you fiercely and always had your back. He loved sports, especially Notre Dame football and any Michigan sports team.
Boo is survived by his sister, Tammy (Mike) Underwood; his brother, Shawn Trefil; nephews, Joshua, Jacob, Ryan, Anthony; a niece, Julia; his best friend and cousin, Buzz Trefil; and many extended family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister-in-law, Jennifer Broom.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, July 29, 2024, at 1 pm at Fulton Center Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12 pm until the time of services at the cemetery.
