Doyle Franklin Coffey Obituary

Doyle Franklin Coffey, 80, passed away Friday, July 26, 2024 at his residence. He was born July 6, 1944 in Barren County, Kentucky to the late Howard Franklin Coffey and Tessie Mae Pedigo Wheatley. Doyle retired in 2009 from the Glasgow State Nursing Facility as a CNA. He was a proud United States Air Force veteran and was a member of South Green Street Church of Christ.


Survivors include his loving wife, who he married February 12, 1984, Shirley Jean Coffey; one brother, Bill Coffey; five brothers-in-law, Darrell Pitcock, Glenn Pitcock (Judith), Carl William Pitcock, Jr. (Judy), Louie Pitcock (Janice), David E. Pitcock (Kaye); and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.


The funeral service for Mr. Coffey will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, July 30th at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in Monroe County Memorial Lawn. Visitation will be on Monday afternoon from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Tuesday morning until time for the service at the funeral home.
