Dale R. Rein, age 70, of Brampton passed away Friday, July 26, 2024, surrounded by his loving family, at his home in Brampton, following a long battle with cancer. He was born December 6, 1953 in Detroit, MI and was the son of Dale Richard and Rose Ann (Duffy) Rein. Dale grew up in Mt. Clemens, MI and worked at Burger King at night and construction during the day. He married the former Katherine Janczewski May 3, 1976 in Crandon, WI. In the spring of 1983, they moved to Brampton and started Reins Forest Products and Dale was also a member of the Local Labor’s Union 1329 working construction. Dale was a busybody and loved to work. He enjoyed the outdoors, trapping, hunting, but his greatest joy, was spending time with his family and grandchildren.

Dale is survived by wife Kathy; daughters Robin Rein of Lower Michigan and Charity Potier of Brampton; sons Dale (Hollie) Rein Jr. and Jason Rein of Brampton, grandchildren Robert Lordson, Jr., Hawkins Lordson, Nathan Rein, Samantha Sherman, Marty Sherman, Jr., Alex Rein, Allayna Rein, Tanner Traun, Hunter Potier and Cole Potier; several great grandchildren; sister Dawn (Joe) Secore of Lower Michigan; brother Darrin Rein of Georgia and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by grandson Wesley Rein; brothers William and David Rein and sister Donna Zilska.

A private celebration of life gathering in honor of Dale will be held later.
