Robin Schill Hunter, age 67 of Knox, passed away Thursday, July 25, 2024 at her home following an illness.  

     Born July 23, 1957 in Clarion, she was the daughter of the late Willard and Rose Beichner Slaugenhaupt.

     She was a graduate of North Clarion High School.

     Robin married David Hunter on October 18, 2023 and he survives.

     She was a Dietician at the Clarion Psychiatric Center and a member of the Clarion County Rod and Gun Club in Knox and the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.

    Robin enjoyed crafting.

    She is survived by a daughter, Lori Schill of Pittsburgh; three step daughters: Jessica Anthony, Misty Hunter and Nicole Hunter; 15 grandchildren: Zachery, Alec, Nathan, Korbin, Brian, Peyton, Bailey, Brady, Jenna, Maison, Ashleigh, Cara, Riley, Jacob and Sophia, and a great grandson, Leo.

     Robin is also survived by two brothers, Michael Slaugenhaupt and Dan Slaugenhaupt, and three sisters-in-law, Mary Louise, Mary and Becky.

     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Brian Schill, and two brothers, William and Ted.

     Family and friends will be received from 6-8 p.m. Friday, August 2, 2024 at the William N. Rupert Mortuary, Inc., 430 Mendenhall Avenue, Knox.

    A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 3, 2024 at the Knox United Methodist Church, 9729 Route 338, Knox. Reverend Wade Barto, pastor of the church, will officiate.

     Entombment will follow in the Knox Union Cemetery columbarium.
