Charlotte Ann Pflum, age 95, of Clarence, MO, passed away Friday, July 26, 2024, at Loch Haven Nursing Home in Macon, MO.

She was born May 7, 1929, in Anabel, MO, the daughter of Howard and Helen (Robuck) Thompson. On August 20, 1950, she was united in marriage to Warren Pflum in Clarence, MO. He preceded her in death on October 10, 2015.

Charlotte is survived by three sons, James Pflum and wife Donna of Augusta, IL, Gary Pflum and wife Jan of St. Charles, MO, and Lewis Pflum and wife Sheri of Sicily, Italy; eleven grandchildren, Nichole Oldani (T.J.), James Pflum (Nicole), Rachel Shipley (Grant), Nathan Pflum, Elizabeth Jones (Alex), Jeff Pflum(Becky), Hanna Mittelbuscher (Andrew), Whitney Mintert (Eric), Kyle Pflum (Marjorie), Katelin Sprague (Zachary),and Zoe Pflum; sixteen great-grandchildren, Mia Oldani, Matthew Pflum, Link Pflum, Vivianne Pflum, Benjamin Pflum, Theo Jones, Elizabeth Shipley, Macie Pflum, Gavin Mittelbuscher, Jersey Mittelbuscher, Keegan Mintert, Korbin Mintert, Jackson and Cooper Sprague, Dylan Pflum, and Jordan Noel and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; granddaughter, Melissa Pflum; brother, Lewis Thompson; and sister-in-law, Willie Sam Thompson.

Charlotte graduated from Clarence High school in 1947, attended Kirksville Teachers College and Central Methodist University. She received her bachelor’s degree with Lindenwood College in St. Charles, MO. Charlotte was a past member of the DAR, Eastern Star, Methodist Women, and NEMO Genealogy Club. She was also a member of the Clarence Faith Family in Christ Church. She enjoyed studying genealogy, traveling, raising her family. Most of all she loved spending time with family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, August 1, 2024, at the Clarence Faith Family in Christ Church in Clarence, MO (301 S. Center St., Clarence, MO 63437), with burial to follow in Maplewood Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 31, 2024 from 5 pm to 7 pm, at the Greening-Eagan-Hayes Funeral Home (415 N. Shelby St., Clarence, MO 63437) in Clarence, MO. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Clarence Faith Family in Christ Church.
