Mr. Thomas Moody, 95, of Huntingdon, Tennessee passed away Friday July 26, 2024 at Baptist Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00AM Monday July 29, 2024 at Huntingdon Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Carroll Memorial Gardens. Brother James Keen, Brother Clint Ezell and Brother Jeff Moody officiating.

The family will receive friends at Dilday-Carter Funeral Home on Sunday from 2:00PM until 8:00PM and on Monday at Huntingdon Missionary Baptist Church from 9:00AM until time of services at 11:00AM.

Mr. Moody was born February 5, 1929 to the late John Clements Moody and Elsie Hampton Moody. Preceded in death by his wife Sue Moody was passed away July 25, 2017, retired from Publix Shirt and a member of Huntingdon Missionary Baptist Church.

He is survived by one daughter Alexis (James) Stallcup of Huntingdon, Tennessee; one son Tommy (late wife Barbara) Moody of Huntingdon, Tennessee; one sister Peggy Knapton of Castleberry, Florida; four grandchildren Amanda Hurley, Rebecca (Brad) Smith, Chad (Kim) Byars and Christy (Danny) Allen; ten great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.
