Carole Leanore Fedden (nee Preston), 92, of Bloomington passed away peacefully Thursday, July 26, 2024 after a brief illness at her home in Bloomington, IL. A private interment will be in the Hudson Township Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.

Carole was born on March 27, 1932 (Easter Sunday) in St. Albans, NY to Leonard Joseph and Esther Viola Preston. Carole was the youngest of four girls. She married Robert Harold Fedden on May 2, 1954 in St. Albans, New York. Robert and Carole welcomed a son in 1956 and daughter in 1958.

Carole was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, and her husband, Robert Harold Fedden. Surviving is her son, Alan Robert (Sandra Ann) Fedden of Hudson, IL; daughter, Lyn Carol Fedden of Fuquay-Varina, NC; two granddaughters, Katie Nicole (Ethan) Glasford of Aberdeen, SD and Elizabeth Suzanne (Danny Sullivan) Fedden of Santa Fe, NM; two great granddaughters Addalyn Nicole, and Emily Louise Glasford of Aberdeen, SD; two great grandsons Weston Gary Glasford, of Aberdeen, SD and Patrick Daniel Sullivan of Santa Fe, NM.
