Ronald E. Milcoff, 76, of Michigan City, IN, passed away at 9:56 a.m. Saturday, July 20, 2024 at Life Care Center of Michigan City, IN.

He was born on August 3, 1947 to the late Christo and Elizabeth (Gulyash) Milcoff in Dubuque, IA, and has lived most of his life in Michigan City, IN.   Along with his parents; he was preceded in death by 10 siblings.

Ronald was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War.   He worked at Bethlehem Steel Corporation for several years before becoming disabled.

Ronald is survived by a daughter, Darlene Higgins of Henderson, NV; two sons, Abram Milcoff of Michigan City, IN; Scott (Mayra Nuñez) Milcoff of Covington, WA; three grandchildren, Brandon Howell, Travis Howell, and Kiara Milcoff; two sisters, Gloria (Ron) Young of Elkhart, IN; Ruth (Gene) Skwiat of LaPorte, IN; and one brother, Charles (Shirley) Milcoff of Titusville, FL.

Ronald enjoyed racing, pitching horse shoes, watching game shows, playing cards, and singing in the choir at church.  He enjoyed spending time with close as well as extended family.  He very much appreciated his good friend Phil Anton and all his kindness.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. CST Monday, July 29, 2024 at Kaniewski Funeral Home, 201 S. Filbert Street, New Carlisle, IN.  A Funeral Service will follow at 1:00 p.m. CST in the funeral home, with Pastor Chris Tomei officiating.  Burial will follow in the New Carlisle Cemetery, where military honors will be performed.
