Brian loved life and his family, as well as weightlifting, working out, professional sports, fishing, spending time in the sun and the great outdoors, and taking care of his meticulous lawn. Brian was always a people person and made friends with just about everyone.
Born and raised in South Milwaukee, he graduated from South Milwaukee High School in 1989 where he participated and excelled in varsity wrestling in the heavyweight division, varsity football as a tackle, and varsity track & field (shot put and discus). Highlights include lettering in multiple sports (first in football as a sophomore), and setting a school record for a six second pin in the heavyweight division for wrestling.
Brian went on to earn his college degree at UW-Oshkosh and started his career in retail management upon graduation. His easygoing personality made him a natural for this field, with other companies often seeking him out to come and work for them. He had the distinction of saving a life during work utilizing his CPR skills. On one occasion, his calm nature allowed him to facilitate a positive outcome in an effective and efficient manner for a frantic child who had accidentally locked himself in a gun safe displayed in the store.
He worked for many years at Fleet & Farm in Oshkosh, and Germantown. More recently he served as the store manager for Hahn Ace Hardware in Hartford. Though his life on this earth ended much earlier than expected, Brian positively impacted the lives of many and his influence will live on in many ways.
