Mrs. McFarland

Nina Carol McFarland, 77, of Aberdeen, passed away Sunday, July 21, 2024 at the Hospice of Hope Care Center.

Nina was born April 20, 1947, in Maysville to the late Arthur Davis Breeze and the late Edna Opal Breeze. A Tollesboro High School graduate, Nina worked as a bookkeeper for McFarland Nursing Supplies and had owned several Snow Castle snow cone stands. In her spare time, she enjoyed taking care of her flower garden.

Survivors include her sons, Gene (Amy) McFarland and Travis (Lisa Neal) McFarland; and sisters, Judy (Bud) Senters and Viva (Bobby) Fetters.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Charles McFarland and brothers Larry and Davis Breeze.

A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday July 25, 2024, at Brell and Son Funeral Home, with Justin Smith officiating. Interment will be at Olivet Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
