With many mixed emotions and understandable broken hearts, the Majestic Funeral Homes Family joins with the family of Mr. Michael Hayes as they prepare to say “Rest In Peace”. Mr. Hayes transitioned from this life on Saturday, July 20, 2024 at UNC Hospitals Hillsborough Campus.

Services to honor Mr. Hayes will begin on Monday July 29, 2024 with hours of visiting and reflecting from 6pm until 8pm, as Mr. Hayes lies in peaceful repose Majestic Funeral Home in Riegelwood, NC. Events will climax on Tuesday, July 30, 2024 commencing at 12noon as a Triumphant Celebration of Life Ceremony comes forth also at New Covenant Holiness Church 1020 Dawson St, in Wilmington, NC. Following the services in the house of worship, Mr. Hayes' earthen vessel along with his adored family, will be escorted to the Pleasant Union MBC cemetery in Riegelwood, NC for Committal Rites. As difficult as it will be for Michael’s family to cope and continue this walk of life without him, all will find solace knowing he’s is in that land where there is a tree and its leaves are good for the healing of all infirmities. There, Mr. Hayes is resting by the brook flowing with living water, forever resting in eternal splendor.
