Dorothy M. (Sweet) Center, 97, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 21, 2024 at The Wesley in Saratoga Springs, NY.

Born October 24, 1926 in South Glens Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Sidney and Barbara (Barlow) Sweet.

In addition to her parents, Dorothy is predeceased by her husband Claude “Pete” Center, her sons, Richard Center and Gary Center, her grandson Ricky Center, her sister Arlene Ethridge, as well as her brothers, Jason Sweet and Phillip Sweet.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Connie Harmon (Harry), her grandchildren, Kim Orr (David), Andrew Robillard (Jan), and Michael Robillard (Jackie), her great-grandchildren, Anna Smith (Kyle), Caroline Faucett, Will Robillard, and Mary Douglas Robillard, her great-great-grandchildren, Kierran Smith, Jillian Smith, and Anson Smith, her brother Sidney Sweet, as well as her special cousin Diana Dublois, along with several other nieces, nephews, and cousins.

At Dorothy’s request there will be no calling house. Arrangements are in the care of the M.B. Kilmer Funeral Home, 136 Main Street, South Glens Falls, NY 12803.

A graveside service will be celebrated at 11am on Thursday, July 25, 2024 at the Griswold Cemetery on Route 9 in Moreau.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Dorothy’s name can be made to a charity of ones choice.
