Doris (Miller) Lawson, age 68, of Joplin, MO passed away surrounded by family and loved ones in the comfort of her home on July 17th, 2024.
Doris was born on May 26th, 1956 in Joplin, MO to her parents Jessie and Elsie (Horne) Miller.
She worked as supervisor at Sunbeam for many years until her retirement.
She is preceded in death by her parents; five siblings, Melvin Miller, Lewis Miller, Karen Ruddick, Claudette Jones, and Sherri Miller; one grandson, Christian Jones.
Doris is survived by one brother, Mike Miller (Debbie); five children, Steven Miller, Miranda Alvarez, Jamie Brisbin (Paul), Kevin Spencer, and James Spencer; twelve grandchildren, David Jones, April Jones, Caleb Jones, Layla Evans, Alejandro Alvarez, Cayden Evans, Ayla Spencer, Cheyenne Douglas, Dakota Douglas, Grayson Spencer, Maggie McCoy, Mason McCoy; three great-grandchildren, Claire Brisbin, Majesti Jones, and Charlee Jones; Damon Miller, Kate, Alex and numerous nieces and nephews.
She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
