Mr. Steve M. Price, Sr., 62, of West Point, passed away Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at East Alabama Medical Center in Lanett, AL.

Born on April 13, 1962, in Jacksonville, FL, Mr. Price was the son of the late Marion Hull Price and Shirley Yvonne Haney Price. He was Baptist by faith, was an EMT for many years, and was known as the “family doctor”. Mr. Price loved music, played the guitar and bass, and was a jack of all trades

Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Julie Price; daughters, Jennifer Coleman and Jessica Price; grandchildren, Christian Davis (Makayla), Alec Keegan, Micheal Foster, Cloey Cooper, and Ella Coleman; great-grandchildren, Bryson Davis, Ashton Davis, and Myles Foster; his siblings, Marion Price, Jr., Bryan and Kim Price, John and Angie Price, and Leigh Ann Olson; brothers in-law and sisters in-law, Stacy Burnham, Dorlena Rodriguez Price, Arthur and Mary Torres, Jose Torres, Alma and Jerry Neuman, Paul Torres, and Eddie and Lori Torres; and nieces and nephews, Chelsea Phillips, Andrew Olson, Randy Brady, Gabby Cook, Brittnye Spivey, Cecile Price, Tyler Price, Stephanie Perry, Kayla Parker, Amy Pike, Lee Burnham, Hannah Rachel Price, Eric Noel Rodriguez, Luis Elias Rodriguez, Hannah Hendrix, AJ Torres, Rebecca Torres, Daniel Torres, Angelina Torres, Vince Torres, Shea Torres, William Trowe, Lauren Bastian, Jose Torres, Jr., and Andy Torres. In addition to his parents, Steve was preceded in death by his son, Steven Price, Jr.; twin brother, Paul Price; sister, Susan Price Burnham; and brother in-law, Marty Olson.

The funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, July 27, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. Dr. Tommy McLeroy will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery.
