Dannie D. Scott, a cherished member of the Kokomo community, passed away peacefully on July 16, 2024, at the age of 68. Born in Frankfort, IN on December 2, 1955, to Shirley Hernly and the late Dayne Scott, Dannie was a beacon of adventure and kindness, whose passion for life touched many.

Family was the cornerstone of Dannie's life. He is survived by his loving mother, Shirley Hernly, and is preceded in death by his father, Dayne Scott. Dannie's legacy lives on through his children, Dannie (Ruth Ann) Scott, Debra (Shawn) Clifford, Christin (William) Cannon and Debra (Shawn) Clifford; his son, Danny (Ruth Ann) Scott; his sister, Barbara (Larry) Smith; his brothers, Rick and Bill Scott; and his seven adored grandchildren. Each family member carries with them the spirit of Dannie's love and the memories of his unwavering support.

Dannie's adventurous soul found joy in the roar of a motorcycle and the camaraderie of fellow riders. As a dedicated member of the Iron Pigs Motorcycle Club, he shared countless miles and smiles with his fellow members, who will miss him greatly. His love for riding was matched by his passion for gun collecting, a hobby that allowed him to connect with others who shared his interests.

Those who knew Dannie will remember him as a man of many attributes: adventurous, loving, and friendly. He was the kind of person who could light up a room with his presence and make a lasting impression with his warm smile and generous spirit. Dannie's approach to life was to embrace each day with enthusiasm and to seek out the beauty in the world around him.
