Silvia L. Murphy Obituary
TROY – Silvia L. Murphy, 75, died Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at Samaritan Hospital in Troy. She was born on October 7, 1948, the daughter of the late Wandita McAdams and Charles Masker, Sr.
She is survived by her sisters, Lillis Johnston and Julia Sousis and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased in death by her sisters, Holly Krus and Teena Johnston; her brother, Charles Masker, Jr. and her second dad, Fred Krus.
Her greatest love was caring for people including over 30 years as a nurse’s aide at the Eddy Memorial Geriatric Center in Troy.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, July 24th at 11 am at the Maryland Cemetery, 185 Cemetery Road, Maryland, NY.
Contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 1003 Loudon Road, Cohoes, NY 12047.
