Elvia M. De Mejia, Elvia went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on February 3, 2018 at the aged of 97 years. Beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Elvia was born on January 11, 1921 to Ruben Macias and Rafaela (Navarrete) Macias in Bogota, Colombia. She is survived by her son and daughter in law Cesar Mejia and Patricia Martinez, grandson Luis Cesar Mejia, grand daughter Daniela Asad Martinez. Her daughter and son in law Liliana Larsen and Scott Larsen, grand daughter Vanessa Gonzalez, grandsons, James Heitmann and Kyle Larsen. Elvia is survived by her great grandchildren, Tatiana Maritza and Adriana Mejia, Brandon Perez Gonzalez and Alison Gonzales, Madison Larsen and Kaylee Larsen. Elvia was a loving mother, an abuelita, she was kind to others, always willing to help those that were in need. She was a strong woman for her family and others. She loved traveling, spending time with family and friends, gardening, sewing and knitting and playing solitary. Elvia was preceded by her husband Julio "Julito" C. Mejia, her son, brother, sister and parents. A home going celebration for our mom Elvia will be held on Wednesday, February 14, 2018. Visitation from 5:00 PM until time of service at 6:30 PM at CHURCH AND CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 7626 W. Greenfield Ave., West Allis Funeral Home: Church and Chapel Funeral Home - Brookfield 1875 N.
