Cody Douglas Case, “Turtle”, 40, of Lexington Park, MD, formerly of Amarillo, TX, passed away on July 12, 2024, in Lexington Park, MD. Born on April 2, 1984, in Pampa, TX, he was the son of Eric Eugene Case of Grove, OK and the late Sherlyn Elaine Reed. Cody was the loving husband of Kristina Darliene Case, whom he married in Waldorf, MD on June 17, 2023. He is survived by his children, Justyn Case of Amarillo, TX, Mykayla Brown of Lexington Park, MD, Lyzabeth Case of Amarillo, TX, Wyatt Brown of Lexington Park, MD, and David Wormwood of Lexington Park, MD, his siblings Sammy Case (Braydon Mendoza) of Amarillo, TX and Ty Hall of Amarillo, TX, his brother-in-law, Timothy Pickeral (Ashleigh) of Waldorf, MD, his sisters-in-law, Amanda Pickeral of Waldorf, MD, Cheryl Yancey (David) of King George, VA, and Jennifer Labankwski, his mother-in-law, Patricia Pickeral of Waldorf, MD, his father-in-law, Brian Brown (Monica) of Easton, MD, and his grandfather, Densel (Fern) Reed of Wheeler, TX.

Cody graduated from Allison ISD in 2002 and went on to attend Amarillo College. He moved to St. Mary’s County, MD from Lusby, MD in February 2020 and was a software programmer for PSI Pax.

Cody loved computers, video games, being a husband, and especially loved being a father.
