Thomas A. “Tom” Brett

July 11, 1951-July 12, 2024

Age 73, of Upper St. Clair, on Friday, July 12, 2024, passed peacefully with family by his side.

Tom is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Jennifer Sutton Brett; Proud Father to Stacey Brett Davern (Jason), Sara Brett D’Ambrosio (Stephen), and Christopher Brett (Anna); Papa to Theresa, Lincoln, Aiden, Kendall (Sean) and Nora; Grandpapa to Kaden; Brother of Robert Brett, Barbara Pringle (Mark), Joseph Sutton (Suzanne), and Jane Sutton Hagy; Loving Uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Tom was a happy, sweet and gracious spirit who left those around him with a smile. He had a great sense of humor, and enjoyed biking, traveling, fishing, playing cards, walking the dog, and adventures with his family.

He was a graduate of Ohio University and Mt. Lebanon High School.

Tom retired from a successful 40-year career at Insurance Services Office.

He was a beloved member of Christ United Methodist Church where he was a member of the Men’s Bible Study and Work Group.

It is impossible to put all of Tom’s lifetime achievements and love in this remembrance, but he lived a full and joyous life. He will forever remain in the hearts and memories of those who were fortunate enough to know him.

Family and friends are welcome Wednesday, July 17th, from 4-8 p.m. at the Beinhauer-Fryer Funeral Home, 430 Washington Ave., Bridgeville (412-221-3800). A memorial service will be held Thursday, July 18th, at 5:30 p.m. in the worship garden at Christ United Methodist Church, 44 Highland Ave., Bethel Park, PA 15102.
