Leslie A. Pawlowski, 73, of Berwick, died Friday, July 12, 2024 at the Julia Ribaudo Extended Care Center, Lake Ariel, PA.
Born February 17, 1951 in Queens, NY, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Paula (Schack) Chermack.
Mrs. Pawlowski was employed as a steam press operator at Penngora Knitting Mill in Berwick.
Leslie was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Berwick. She enjoyed music, reading, and most of all, spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving friends, Glenn and Sara “Angie” Pawlowski.
She is survived by her son, Allan Pawlowski and his wife, Emily, of Berwick; three grandchildren: Hunter, Benjamin, and Josephine; her brother, Michael Chermack and his wife, Jinfang, of Millersville; two sisters: Alison Whitmoyer and her husband, Karl, of Berwick; and Irene Surratt and her husband, Roger, of Hillside, VA; and her childhood friend, Judy Keck.
A visitation will be held Saturday, July 20, 2024 from 10:00 A.M. until the time of funeral services at 11:00 A.M. at the Mayo Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Chestnut Street, Berwick, with Rev. Francis J. Tamburro, retired pastor, officiating.
Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Berwick.
