Thomas Edwin Roberts, 75, of Fort Smith, Arkansas, passed from this life on July 9, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on September 9, 1948, to Thomas and Pauline (Whedbee) Roberts in Hartford, Arkansas.

Thomas was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He made his career working at Whirlpool. He was a Methodist and an avid fisherman who enjoyed woodworking, as well as going to yard sales and junking. He loved collecting license plates, handy oilers, antique brass bladed fans, glass doorknobs, and fishing lures.

Thomas is survived by his loving wife, Diana Roberts of the home, his son Neil (Jena) Roberts of Fort Smith, Arkansas; two grandchildren, Luke and Anna Claire Roberts; four sisters, Rose Griffiths of Hartford, Arkansas, Joan Bailey of Catoosa, Oklahoma, Carolyn Simmons of Paducah, Kentucky, and Jane English of Poteau, Oklahoma; three brothers, Jimmy Roberts of Hartford, Arkansas, Jeff Roberts of Hartford, Arkansas, and Jan Roberts of Monroe, Oklahoma; as well as several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Pauline Roberts.

A memorial service for Thomas will be held at the Martin Funeral & Cremation Chapel in Mansfield, Arkansas on Saturday, July 20, 2024, at 10 a.m. with Rev. Jason Chick officiating.
