William P. Bridgeman, 97, of South Point, Ohio, formerly of Chesapeake passed away Thursday, July 11, 2024, at Sanctuary of the Ohio Valley in Ironton, OH. He was born May 20, 1927, to the late Floyd Bridgeman and Mae Bond. Bill is the widower of Wanda Bridgeman. He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Norma Jeffries and Ernestine Cochran. Bill is survived by his children; David (Cheryl) Bridgeman of Cambridge, Ohio, Patty (Gary) Daniels of South Point, Ohio and bonus daughter, Sherri Bridgeman of Hilliard, Ohio. Also, his grandchildren; Jason (Erica) Allen, Brianna (Tyler) Cline, Cassie Bridgeman, Mandy Smoot (Brad Bick), Jami (Matt) Dean; great grandchildren, Carlee, Austin, Wyatt, Mackenzie and great, great grandchildren; Ray and Amira. Bill retired from ACF Industries in Huntington, WV. He served as a deacon and was a member of Burlington Baptist Church in South Point, OH. The funeral service will take place on Monday, July 15, 2024, at 12 PM at Schneider-Hall Funeral Home in Chesapeake, OH. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service from 11 AM ~ 12 PM at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Gardens in South Point, OH.
