Mary Ella Strange, 83, of Boonville passed away, on July 9, 2024 at Woodmont Health Campus.

She was born on May 2, 1941 to the late Walter and Helen (Stewart) Brooks.

Mary was a member of New Hope General Baptist Church, she enjoyed quilting, crafting, cooking delicious meals, helping others, and a deep love and commitment to her pets.

She is survived by her four children, Teresa Greer (Jake), Kerry Strange, Keith Strange (Becky), Kraig Strange (Chastity); grandchildren; Emily (Dash), Josh (Jenny), Kirby (Dakota), Chet (Steph), Brandon (Blake); great-grandchildren, Wyatt, Nolan, Elliot, Miles, Darcy, Alex, Maverick; longtime friends, Shirley and Audrey.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kenneth M. Strange; siblings, Dorothy Grigsby and Bill Brooks; granddaughter, Meaghan Strange.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until service time on Saturday, July 13, 2024 at Koehler Funeral Home 304 East Main Street, Boonville, IN 47601.

Funeral Services will begin at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home, with Pastor Steve Selby officiating.

Burial is to follow at Maple Grove Cemetery.
