Carol J. Spaw Obituary

Carol J. (Hassinger) Spaw, age 77, of York, Pennsylvania, previously of Uniontown, PA passed away on July 7, 2024. She was predeceased by her husband James H. Spaw, parents Dale Adams and Betty (Jones) Adams.


She is survived by her children Richard Spaw and his wife Connie (Thomson) Spaw, Roger Spaw and his wife Amy (Navaroli) Spaw. Her sister Debbie (Hassinger) Andrews and her husband Bill Andrews. Grandchildren Alyssa Spaw, Zachary Spaw and his wife Amber (Way) Spaw and many lifelong friends and extended family.


Among her life’s many hobbies were camping, coloring, crafting, shopping, going to car shows, taking care of her pets, and going to the casino. Carol enjoyed many great times with family and friends including new friends she made in her apartment complex, assisted living, and even in her final months in rehab/nursing care. She always made friends with her outgoing personality wherever she went.


Private celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to PA Wounded Warriors in her name. https://www.pawoundedwarriors.org/donate
