Heriberto Gonzalez Sr. Obituary

Heriberto Gonzalez Sr., 65, passed away on July 8, 2024, at his home in Lower Pottsgrove Township, PA, surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Carmen Estrella (Rivera) Gonzalez, with whom he shared 41 years of marriage.

Born in Isabela, Puerto Rico, on April 16, 1959, Heriberto was the son of the late Blasino Gonzalez and Francisca (Ramos) Gonzalez.

Heriberto dedicated many years as an industrial mechanic for PPG. In his spare time, he found joy in working on cars and around his house, eagerly sharing his skills with his nephews and grandchildren. He had a passion for bird watching and treasured every moment spent with his family. Family was always Heriberto's top priority. He enjoyed vacationing with them, playing games in the yard—Dominoes being a favorite among family and friends—and creating countless cherished memories. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Heriberto is lovingly remembered by his wife, Carmen Gonzalez; his children, Heriberto Gonzalez Jr. and Delilah Gonzalez; his grandchildren, Carley, Giovante, Emma, Arianna, and Izaiah; and his siblings, Zori, Rosa, Provi, Gus, and Grace. In addition to his parents, Heriberto was predeceased by his siblings, Tony, Sonia, and Mickey.

Visitation will take place on July 14, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Houck & Gofus Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 955 N. Charlotte St., Pottstown, PA 19464. A Life Celebration will follow at 3:00 p.m.
