Ronald James Burke, 79, of Manchester passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 6, 2024 at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA.

Mr. Burke worked many years as a Dolly Grip Technician with Local 52 of the Mechanics Union in the motion picture industry. Prior to his movie career, he was a New York City Police Officer for 2 years and a proud member of the National Guard. Ronald was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY and has lived in Manchester for the past 5 years.

Ronald was predeceased by his parents Thomas Burke of Sligo, Ireland and Anne Burke (MacDonald) of Nova Scotia, Canada; his older brother Thomas Burke (Dorothy) of New Jersey; sister Patricia Hardina (Burke) of Florida; brother-in-law William T. Flyg of Massachusetts; and by his beloved younger brother Kevin Burke of Brooklyn.

Surviving is his loving wife, Christine (Pole) Bonevich; step-son John Bonevich and his wife Janine and their children, Jack, Juliet and James of Howell; brothers Kenneth Burke and his wife Patricia of Genoa, NY and Raymond Burke and his wife Loris of Frankford, DE; sisters Barbara Hopkins and her husband Timothy of Breezy Point, NY and Kathleen Flyg of Jamaica Plains, MA; brother-in-law Edward Hardina, Sr. of Florida; as well as many nieces and nephews.

A private cremation has taken place and final interment will be at a later date.
