Timothy H. Perrier Obituary

Ocala, FL - Timothy H. Perrier Sr, 83, of Ocala, formerly of Hamilton, MA, unexpectedly passed away on July 5, 2024. He was the son of the late Wilfred and Ruth (Harrington) Perrier, Timothy was born in Boston and raised in East Boston. He was one of seven children. Lillian Turner of Wilmington, Ruthie Penachio of Revere, Claire Sheehan of Revere, Julia DePlacido of Saugus, and Elizabeth Puliafico of Reading. He was predeceased by his brother Wilfred (Jake) Jr. He moved to Hamilton at the age of 16 and attended Beverly High School, graduating in 1958. He then attended Beverly Trade School and graduated in 1960.


After graduating from trade school as a machinist he began his career at United Shoe in Beverly. He married his wife Rosemarie Poste of Everett, MA in 1966 and immediately began a family and had their two children. He then worked at APV Gaulin in Everett where he remained for 17 years. He retired from Synventive in Gloucester to end his working career.


Tim enjoyed spending time with his family and friends on Chebacco lake where they built their family home and they lived for 38 years. There they enjoyed water skiing, snowmobiling, and sailing with their children and taking cruises with his wife Rosemarie and his sisters and their spouses. After leaving Hamilton he and his wife Rosemarie moved to Ocala, FL to spend their much-deserved retirement where they spent the last 20 years and have made countless friends and continued to cruise and take vacations with their children and their grandchildren.


Timothy is survived by his wife Rosemarie (Poste) Perrier they would have celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary in September. His children Timothy Perrier Jr and his wife Kristin and their two children McKenzie and Madisyn of Myrtle Beach, SC, Laurie (Perrier) Ramey and her husband James and their three sons Evan, Nathan, and Collin of Ipswich, MA and Andrew Perrier of Somerville.


A Funeral Mass will be held for Timothy on Tuesday July 16 at 10:30AM at the Church of St. Paul, Union St. Hamilton, MA immediately followed by burial at Hamilton Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday July 15 from 4 to 7PM at the Campbell Funeral Home, 6 High St., Ipswich, MA.
