John William Peyton Obituary

John William “Billy” Peyton, 87, of Warsaw, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at home, surrounded by his loving family. Billy was a self-employed building contractor, an Air Force Veteran, who loved hunting and fishing. He was an active member of Menokin Baptist Church, having served as Choir Director and Deacon, along with many other roles.


Billy is survived by his wife Ann Peyton; sons, Keith Peyton (Janie), Kraig Peyton, and Kevin Peyton; grandchildren, Erica P. Buyer (Matthew), Trevor Peyton (Allison), Jacob Peyton, Ashley Peyton, Kolton Peyton, and Alana Peyton; great-grandchildren, Juniper, Griffon, and Ryleigh; and sister, Judy Mulqueen. He is preceded in death by his sister, Marietta Yeatman, and his brother, Tyler Peyton.


Funeral services will be held at Menokin Baptist Church at 3 p.m., on Sunday, July 14, 2024, officiated by Rev. Dr. Jason Patrick. The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. at the church, prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Menokin Baptist Church.
