David Norman Kessinger, 73, of White Hall, was a prankster who enjoyed making people laugh and gardening in his quiet time.


He passed away Wednesday, July 10, 2024.


David was born January 1, 1951 in West Plains, Missouri, son of Raymond and F. Elizabeth Caplinger Kessinger.


He was reared and received his early education in Little Rock, Arkansas.


David was a carpenter throughout his life, working most recently for Terry and Associates.


Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, David Bradley Kessinger; two sisters, Mary Beth Marsh (Jerry) and Hetta Bivens; two brothers, Donald Kessinger and Guy Wayne Kessinger; two brothers-in-law, Robert “Bobby” Chambliss and Larry Milam; and a nephew, Randy Marsh.


Survivors include his two bonus sons, Jeff and Greg Blevins; bonus granddaughter, Kayla Blevins; five sisters, Linda Wells (Howard), Bonnie Milam, Debbie Newby (Pat), Anna Lisemby (Larry) and Ginger Chambliss; mother of his children and lifelong friend, Freda Mills; and numerous nieces and nephews.


Private services will be held at a later date.
