Patricia Ann Anderson Obituary

Patricia Ann Anderson, age 84 of Loudon passed away July 9, 2024. She was a member of Community Baptist Church. Pat was known for her purpose and passion. She never wanted anyone to leave her presence without having had a good laugh, as all who knew her will attest. That was her chief purpose in life. Like her mother before her, Pat’s passion was dancing. Our fondest memory will always be the look of joy that they saw on her face when she danced. Pat’s defining statement was “I’d rather jitterbug than eat.”

Preceded in death by the love of her life, Robert McCreary Jr.; parents, Carl and Della Ruth; daughter, Sherry Jenkins. Survived by her children: Gary McCreary (Shirley), Laura Cable, and Kim Frady; grandchildren: Derek McCreary (Anna), Stephen Cable (Dana), and Jacob Frady; great-grandchildren, Landon McCreary, and Abigayle Hudson; siblings: Ronald Ruth (Carol), Sandra Ditty (Stanley), Michael Ruth (Susan); many beloved nieces and nephews; grand dogs, Kirby and Emma who Pat adored.

The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, July 19th at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with her brother, Dr. Michael Ruth officiating. Family and friends will gather at 10 am. on Saturday, July 20th at Lakeview Cemetery for graveside services. Click Funeral Home, 109 Walnut Street, Lenoir City is in charge of arrangements.
